St Augustine's Catholic Primary School

We were fortunate to have a special visit from Bishop Mark. He led a whole school assembly and answered many of the children's questions. Bishop Mark was genuinely impressed by the children's focus, their thoughtful questions and the warm, respectful ethos that we have at St Augustine's. The Children's behaviour, positive attitudes and tuneful singing voices were a true reflection of our school values.

Bishop Mark also spent time with staff and thanked everyone for all that they do for the children at St Augustine's.

We are very proud of the children for giving Bishop Mark such a warm welcome.

Year 1 had a wonderful morning with the Chaplaincy team from Cardinal Newman, who visited to share with us some scripture and thoughtful activities to help our Year 1 children to further understand the real meaning of Christmas.
